TLTC Pros

Tom Peterson
General Manager
Tom Peterson

USPTA Pro 1, Tom has been at the TLTC for 19 years; 17 of those as the General Manager, Tom is a former #1 player at the Pacific Lutheran University and is a member of the Babolat Advisory Staff. Tom continues to coach many sectional qualifying USTA teams and has played for a 5.0 team which placed third in nationals. Tom has spent four years as a competitive training center coach. Tom has 25 years of teaching experience.

Mark Hanson
Head Tennis Professional
Mark Hanson

USPTA PRO 1 with a USTA National Coaching Certification in 2006. Mark is the 2008 USTA Competitive Training Center Head Coach. Mark is a former Head Coach of Seattle University and is currently coaching WTA player Julie Ditty, ranked 88 in the world. He is the former Director of Junior Development at Boeing Tennis Center and he coaches nationally and sectionally ranked juniors players. Mark is currently a member of the Nike and Babolat Advisory Staff. He has 22 years of teaching experience.

Gil Rigell
Assistant Tennis Professional
Gil Rigell

PTR certified professional. Gil has taught tennis for 22 years. He has worked with some of the top junior players in the PNW. Many have gone on to play NCAA Division 1 college tennis. He has also coached high school basketball for 9 years and college basketball for 11 years. Gil has a Bachelors degree in English from PLU.

Nick Moxley
Assistant Tennis Professional

Nick Moxley, originally from Federal Way, Washington, has played tennis for over fifteen years and taught tennis for 10 years. Throughout his junior tennis career, Nick was a state and sectional champ in the Pacific Northwest in both singles and doubles competition. He received a full-tuition scholarship to Bowling Green State University in Ohio in 2000 where he played number one. Nick has competed in several national and ATP events and tournaments, including the Futures and Challenger series hosted by Hilton Waikoloa Village. He served as the head tennis professional at Kohala Tennis, Hilton Waikoloa Village and has also taught at the Olympia Bally's.

Swim

Noah Goldsmith

In the fall, Noah will continue his time at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo as a third year architecture student.  This is Noah's second year as a swim coach and sixth year as an instructor and lifeguard at TLTC.  He learned to swim at the club and then went on to swim for Stadium High School for four years.  He loves swimming and teaching and is excited for another great summer.

Paige Nelson

In the fall Paige will be a college freshman at where she will be studying nursing.  She is a recent graduate of Bellarmine Preparatory School.  She swam on the TLTC swim team for a number of years and continued her time in the water by swimming and playing water polo at Stadium High School throughout her high school years.  She has been a lifeguard for three years and a swim instructor for two. Paige is a dynamic person who will bring a lot positive energy to the program.
